Here is a rough preview. It's not even a months worth of progress. [Clickety Click]
I have a rough understanding of 3D concepts due to school and OG help from Nobby on teaching me basic concepts back in the day. I'm learning something new every time I work on the mod
I'm a beta tester as well. In addition to beta testing I'm making my first car mod. An Acura Integra Type R with a JDM front end conversion (what I drive in irl haha)
Would love to hear some news on it. I saw that it had moved to turbo duck but couldn't really find info.. Its alive? Any info would be interesting, Audrey thanks!
Yooo it’s been a phat minute. Hope y’all are doin good. Saw that test drive is makin a comeback which is so dope. Cant wait to see what they come up with
Now we have the game unpacked again i can carry on with my radio mod, which is coming along well although slowly. So as a side project i decided to have a go a designing a replacement bike for the harley. Im building a custom chopper, with the intent to release it to someone on TDUC so they can turn it into a working replacement. I have several different models of bikes so ive chopped them all down to bare parts cherry picking some of the better parts from them and then im scratch building the remaining parts. I have all the parts i need, i just have to mod slightly, re surface and make new UV maps for most of them. Anyway heres a look at what i got so far....

Anyway yeah, thats what im doing these days (along with other tdu related jiggery pokery ) as soon as its finished ill offer it out to someone to convert over to tdu so we have a replacement bike.
I have some other bike models as well, which would replace the ducatti's very well. but they will take time break down to parts, re-UV them and rebuild. so they will come later....
Heres a nice pic of the engine ill be using for the chopper... I think it came from an old Poser7/Daz studio bike. i have so many old car and bike models/parts, half of the time i have no idea where they originally came from
Not bad actually It's (mostly) cosmetic stuff im fixing up atm
I have most of the parts now, its just mainly a case of fixing surfaces ( im pulling some parts from old bike models ) so i have things like 5 different chrome materals and 3 or 4 different "paint" surfaces so ill have to go through and make them all the same surface. I need to fix a few UVmaps for some of the parts as the existing uvmaps really are not very well done. Then i have a few textures im gonna have to paint ( or steal from somewhere else ) because things like the texture for the brake disk are fairly low quality.
Then i think the only objects left to actually build are the handlebars, i have a nice set of ape hangers but they are not in the right position to work for this bike, so ill rebuild a new set of bars. Then its just the seat, the wheels need a pattern cutting into them ( solid blank wheels atm, i might do a twisted fan blade effect ) and the blank fenders i have ill cut into shape.
Mostly its all little jobs that each take a while to do. Then i can put all the parts together and send it off to be converted over to tdu format. One of the guys from the TDUc forums contacted me already and asked if he could convert it for me. Ive seen his previous work ( i had a few of his tdu1 cars ) so i said he could do it. So really its just a case of waiting for me to get my ass into gear and finish With other gfx jobs im doing and general life its taking a little longer than id like, but it will get finished. Would be kinda cool to be the guy to make the first proper bike mod
