Here is a rough preview. It's not even a months worth of progress. [Clickety Click]
I have a rough understanding of 3D concepts due to school and OG help from Nobby on teaching me basic concepts back in the day. I'm learning something new every time I work on the mod
I'm a beta tester as well. In addition to beta testing I'm making my first car mod. An Acura Integra Type R with a JDM front end conversion (what I drive in irl haha)
Would love to hear some news on it. I saw that it had moved to turbo duck but couldn't really find info.. Its alive? Any info would be interesting, Audrey thanks!
Yooo it’s been a phat minute. Hope y’all are doin good. Saw that test drive is makin a comeback which is so dope. Cant wait to see what they come up with
Just updated the ferrari 430 scuderia and scuderia spider m16 templates to include the little squares for the stripe colour. BE WARNED... the scuderia spider m16 uses several paint squares for different parts of the car. so i took some snaps to show you better..
This is part of the template Heres a front shot Heres a rear shot
The green square controls the mirrors, head rests and engine cover colour. The pink and yellow square controls the rear stripe The yellow, cyan and purple squares control the front stripe. ALSO the purple square from the front also seems to control the 2 unstickerable parts on the rear of the car.
I have no idea why they have done it like that, buts thats eden for you i guess. Now seeing as the front and rear stripe are more than a couple of pixels in size this does mean, to a certain extent you can have a pattern for your stripes. i guess the easiest would be a carbon fiber pattern, but if your careful enough i guess its possible to have any pattern you like on the stripes.

Very Very nice job here. There is no better place better on internet than this website. Thanks a lot.
Question: Your last work on 430.... It means you can have this rear bump part white (instead of actual black), viewable by all players in on-line ? Thanks...

Yup it means exactly that Car stickers are not part of the game files ( in your install folder ) they are part of your car sticker file ( the .sti files found in your savegame folder ) which works exactly the same as if you had made something in the paintshop ( which are visible to all users )
Redesigned the templates page. should make it a lot easier to handle now... Also cleaned out a lot of the old posts from here. Hope this is less of a memory hog now...

Hi Nobby, first thx for your great works ^^ when I click the image, Ive got :"Invalid page Requested page does not exist". May be page always in progress ?
The "invalid page error" is the common error you will get when you do not have access to a certain page on the site. So make sure you are logged in when you try and access the templates. You can see from the chat box ( on the left side of the site) others have accessed the page already and like how its set out, which means it must be working. Guests ( or any members not logged in) will not have access to the page. So making it members only is an easy way to encourage users to sign up and become a part of the community.

I'm getting the same error. I'm logged in, I come to this thread, I click the image. Since it opens the page in a new tab, it doesn't keep my session or something, and it says the page does not exist. Then when I log in again, it says "Page listing is turned off".
Edit: for some reason, after posting this, it decided to work...
Mod Edit: Just edited the link so it opens in the same page now. Should help eliminate that problem

Have you tested this outside the Stickershop? I'm just asking because... the Cinque also uses only a few single pixels for the Carbon Bodywork. The point is, I was able to get a really nice transition between 2 colours inside the Shop. As I saved and the car came out, it wasn't fading from yellow to red, it was beige all the way. I found out that the game just stretches these few pixels instead of using them pixel by pixel precisely.
So I fear this could also be the case for the 16M here. Didn't test it yet. For the Cinque issue, use this template to see what I mean= Spoiler:
-------------------------------------------- Now to the main story, I added an area on the Atom 300 you seem to forgot. Its the pixels in the upper right corner that will colour the Air Intake Cover behind the driver. Don't be confused, inside the Stickershop it looks quite pale but outside it gets the right colour then. 2nd to that I renamed the area in the upper left corner because it only colours the top of the engine.
See here, the green is the former 'Body Colour', the red is the Air Intake Cover area I added. Spoiler:
New skin template including new description inside here Spoiler:
Mod Edit Donnie: fixed the (showing) pic-size. It outsized the screen, when you opened up the spoilers. (when you download it, it still has the original size, i tested it.)

Thx for the size correction Donnie^^ Im looking forward to not to forget about this.
BTW I found out that the Jaguar XKR Speedpack&Blackpack is missing. I created a blank skin already BUT it only is made in the Shop= Not as pixel-precise as the ones hosted here. You know what I mean, all the edges are a bit blurry.
The DLC Jag has additional lines for the Bodywork compared to the IGC XKR.
