Here is a rough preview. It's not even a months worth of progress. [Clickety Click]
I have a rough understanding of 3D concepts due to school and OG help from Nobby on teaching me basic concepts back in the day. I'm learning something new every time I work on the mod
I'm a beta tester as well. In addition to beta testing I'm making my first car mod. An Acura Integra Type R with a JDM front end conversion (what I drive in irl haha)
Would love to hear some news on it. I saw that it had moved to turbo duck but couldn't really find info.. Its alive? Any info would be interesting, Audrey thanks!
Yooo it’s been a phat minute. Hope y’all are doin good. Saw that test drive is makin a comeback which is so dope. Cant wait to see what they come up with
you dont. It is currently impossible to repack the game. But you can restore the game back to before you unpacked it. Simply delete everything in your Euro/BNK folder Apart from the Videos folder. Then move all your .big/.map files back to the main game folder and then run Uplauncher once. It will do a file check and fix any issues with altered or missing files. Or re-install the game.
Then do what i suggested. When i said it resets the game back to how it was before you unpacked, you probably thought i meant it resets your entire game progress, thats not what i meant. it doesnt effect your save game or anything . it just means your game isnt unpacked anymore.
Just delete your BNK folder. and copy all the .big/.map files back to the games main folder. you will still have any dlc cars you paid for, your money will be the same, and all that jazz . Your savegame and progress is in a completely different location to where the game is installed. so oyu can do whatever you like to the installed game it wont effect your game progress one bit.
Its the same thing you do if you screw up when unpacking the game, its how you undo the unpack. ( like when your mate screwed up his unpack) thats all he needed to do rather than a full install to fix his game.
If you don't wanna play with mods, why don't you do it the easiest possible way? Save your savegame, delete the game and reinstall. And after that copy back your savegame.
And if you decide to play unpacked again in the future, do it like the most of the players does. Copy the game to a seperate folder, unpack it there and play from there. (So the original packed version stays untouched.)

@Donnie probably going to do that
I'm just gonna stick with unpacked for now, because at least I can access my common_car.bnk that way so that it works and isn't the pile of screwed up poop that it was

ModEdit: Combined your two posts into one, no real need to have separate posts..
The tutorial wrote ... ++This tutorial has now got SUPER EASY to follow, even a monkey could follow how to extract the game now.. In fact a monkey could train his pet goat how to unpack TDU, its that easy..++ If you have any issues make sure UAC is turned off and that you run the unpacker in admin mode.
I guess you didn't read the start of the tutorial..
Try running the unpacker in Admin mode, if that doesnt work then turn OFF "User account control" (UAC) in the windows control panel...
This usually happens if you installed the game ( or any game or program ) on the same hard drive as windows. "UAC" tries to protect the drive to stop you from breaking windows. so it doesnt let you make radical changes to that drive... (thats why you should always have one drive JUST for windows and a second drive for all your games/programs) if you have that you NEVER run into problems like this.... i haven't had issues with UAC since the launch of Vista
But yeah Try admin mode first, failing that Turn off UAC, that 99-100 times fixes the problem.
