Here is a rough preview. It's not even a months worth of progress. [Clickety Click]
I have a rough understanding of 3D concepts due to school and OG help from Nobby on teaching me basic concepts back in the day. I'm learning something new every time I work on the mod
I'm a beta tester as well. In addition to beta testing I'm making my first car mod. An Acura Integra Type R with a JDM front end conversion (what I drive in irl haha)
Would love to hear some news on it. I saw that it had moved to turbo duck but couldn't really find info.. Its alive? Any info would be interesting, Audrey thanks!
Yooo it’s been a phat minute. Hope y’all are doin good. Saw that test drive is makin a comeback which is so dope. Cant wait to see what they come up with
Hey guys welcome to the Modding area for all things TDU Console..
Lets try to keep Console and PC based modding in their respective sections, as cross over may end up causing confusion between users. Also if you can include in any topic titles if its for PS3 or for Xbox360. That will help answer the very first question most people ask " does this work on....."
No not really. This is primarily a PC TDU2 site. having a consoles section was way out of the scope of things we imagined for the site. but really there is no point supporting a closed, out of date game. besides there are plenty of sites for tdu1 modding.. Turboduck was a huge TDU1 site, then tdu2 came out so they did a section for that as well. They have a massive section on tdu1. They were the site that brought us TDUmodding tools, which let you alter nearly every aspect of a car.. gears, top speed, ride hight etc. They or rather the users of turboduck are the primary source for most of the mod apps and first batch of mod cars that came out for Tdu 1 & 2.

Well the domain is "Tdumods" LOL I don't know lol ask an admin... Also since vettefan88 is the only guy with the .STI to .PNG i'll try to send him a message about our "Mission" to mod this game for consoles. On top of that my tdu files are kaput because on Sunday I was messing around and kind of think I did something wrong LOL
yes it is tdumods.com, but it also didnt exist until after TDU 2 came out. But as i said, there is no point to start supporting a game that is basically over and done with, when there are other sites that already support it.

Are we allowed to link to external files from the original TDU (for PSP) so that people can have a look at them? :3 I have a TDUPSP.PCK that I wanna decrypt >:D
Are we allowed to link to external files from the original TDU (for PSP)
Well i just said we will NOT be dealing with TDU 1, so why ask if you can link to tdu1 files ( on any system.)
This site will Only be focusing on TDU2, for both PC and for consoles.. ( and mainly just for PC, but seeing as console editing is now making a move in the right direction we are now including that) If you wanna ask if we will have anything to do with files from another game, simply stop and ask yourself "is this game im about to ask about, Tdu2?" if it isnt, no we wont be dealing with it.
Now this isnt directed at anyone, its just more of a general comment, but...
We the admins aren't even really interested in the console side of things that much, if brutally honest. None of us play Tdu2 on consoles, we all play on PC so the info you guys come up with wont be used by any of us.. So we basically created a forum section for you guys and any new users that are looking to start with console modding. So to start asking if we can also include other games ( whatever game it is) after we just gave you a whole forum section is kinda pushing your luck a bit, don't you think.. And as stated before.. from the moment Tdu1 came out there was modding sites for it, Loads of modding sites ( more than TDU2) so If you want to go messing with Tdu1 just look up one of those sites that already cater for Tdu1*

not necessarily true... all of the platform ports share the EXACT SAME DATA, only it is encrypted/compressed different, so info about console ports is equally important as pc info.
so, there's really no harm at all in having a TDU1 area of the forum or a section for consoles. Just because I don't play TDU on console does not mean it has no importance to 'tdu mods'. I'm totally for it to be honest.. it will broaden the site and members.. there's lots of crossover between the games in terms of modding which means for more skills / brains on the site.... plus old timers, who are always good to see...
For sure this domain name suits it.
We don't try to recreate turbo-duck... we just let people talk on it here if they want to..
