Yes there is a way. It was discovered by vettefan88 but it was never released to the public. Maybe you could be the one who solves this ever huanting mystery for us all? I've gone as far as knowing what parts of the file hold what info and that the file is an encrypted 2ds (or a dds? I dont remember its been a while...) file.
@Asg16_4 I've had so many issues with the unpacking process on newer Windows systems. The only way I've gotten it to work EVERY time is to drag all of the .map and .big files into one folder on the desktop, and then run the unpacking script in that folder. When it's done, drag the unpacked folders where they belong in the TDU2 main folder. At that point, make sure your backup is in a proper place and you're good to go!

Can somebody help me, please? I made a few skins and applied them to some cars with texmod. When I run the game from package mode with only one skin selected, it works just fine. But when I select them all, things just get messed up, and the skin applied on the car I'm driving starts appearing on all the other cars instead of the rest of the skins. They look fine in the garage, but when I drive them, it's all messed up For example: I made three skins, one for a lambo, a bugatti and a GT-R, so I run package mode in texmod with the 3 packages loaded. When the game opens, I'm in the lambo, it looks fine, I go to the garage, the Bugatti and GT-R look fine in there, but when I drive any of them, the lambo's skin PNG file is laid on them. Anybody got a solution for that, sorry if that was too long and thank you in advance
